Dr. Chimunda is an Intensive care specialist with a passion for research and education based in Bendigo, Australia where he is the clinical research and education lead. Having completed his FCICM he went on to do a clinical research fellowship with the University of Toronto. There he sub specialised in extracorporeal life systems and research methodology. He is currently undertaking a masters in clinical ultrasonography and an MBA. He is the clinical lead for research and education, an AMA mentor, and a Senior Lecturer with the University of Melbourne and Queensland. His main research areas are in qualitative and educational translation. His focus is on improving the ICU journey for patient and carer. He is currently exploring the utility of large databases with a public health implication utilising datathon platforms and integration of AI analytical systems. He is a classic larrikin ( there is no box). It is only impossible until someone does it.
