Intradepartmental team education
Regular and variable meetings are held from a departmental perspective over the year:
  • Orientation and induction
    • 6 monthly for registrars
    • 3 monthly for HMOs
      • hospital and departmental orientation
  • Weekly 1400-1430 education times, occurring in nursing ‘double-staffing’ time
    • Clinical Performance (Mortality and Morbidity) meetings (weekly)
