ICU Non-Clinical Week - Registrar Routine at a GlanceThe non-clinical week is very valuable, paid rostered time, which allows the registrars to develop non-clinical skills that are often not taught at this level of training. This includes learning about organisational structure and process, quality assurance and education. Much of this time requires the non-clinical registrar to be self-motivated and proactive.
Tasks and rounds:
Monday - Friday
09:00 - Attend the Outreach Round with the Outreach consultant and ICU Liaison Nurse, this includes the Nutritional Support Service Round accompanied by the dietician also.
