How to check your hour balance in Kronos for applying for Time-In-Lieu (CONSULTANTS ONLY)
Desktop
Time-In-Lieu can only be claimed for the 'unapproved hours' worked within the last 'Kronos' month. TIL applications must be made in that same month, though can be taken on any date in the future. As reference, the mid-year Kronos month starts 8/7/19 - you can extrapolate from this date, and it will coincide with the beginning of a pay period.
- Open Kronos (navigator)
- Go to: My Timecard (on desktop)
- Change the time period to coincide with the Kronos 'month'. On desktop, the time period can be changed via the icon next to the down arrow from the pay period.
4. At the bottom of the screen, there is another table which will display the 'unapproved hours'. The sum of the 'unapproved hours' will be your overtime which can be claimed as days of Time-In-Lieu.
Phone app
- Open Kronos on your phone app
- Go to: Timecard
- On phone app, you can only check either the current or immediate past pay period. You need to know when the last 'Kronos month' started - see above.
- Go to the grid-like icon at the bottom of the screen to open the cumulative hour balance
- The sum of the 'unapproved hours' will be your overtime which can be claimed as days of Time-In-Lieu.
